Christmas show was great! Everything was organized and all the shows were perfect.

Malcolm 3-4

I think Theater Arts is one of my favorite subjects. I had a great time learning and taking part in the Christmas show. I thought this year’s production is quite hard to achieve but I was wrong, we manage to make the show a very successful one.  Thanks to my theater arts teacher for teaching me all the things I need to know.  When I go to Middle school I will continue to take Theater Arts.

Heather 5-5

I think this Christmas Play was a great hit! I like my part because the effect was just perfect.

 Nandini 4-3

Cold and nervous was the feeling I’m experiencing when I was on stage. I knew I’m blushing as the curtains open, the more when then the music played but when the stars started moving I tried to do my best. I looked at the audience and saw the amusement on their faces as the lights brightened up and showed us playing the stars. We moved and changed places at every beat of the music as more and more performers were coming in. The whole stage was full and it was hard to see who was doing what and where they were going. Little angels were so cute that they made some parents and teachers almost in tears as they stood up waving hands on their places. It was a fantastic opening. Seventy-five children performing simultaneously for just five minutes and ending up in six different dioramas, featuring fabulous

Christmas scenes were just unbelievable! It was grand!
I thought of reflecting my past
three years learning in Theater Arts with Mrs. Nimfa. She helped a lot in making me believe in myself. Polishing my talents and making it shine not only on stage but anywhere. I became responsible student. And because of these I thank her so much and wish that she continued to help all kids in believing in themselves.

Sumi 5-1

I like the Christmas show this year very much! Everybody had his or her own specialty. The background was made to match the dance. It was awesome!

Mithi 3-1

The Christmas Show was amazing and I just loved it! My favorite part was the snowflakes dance and the Kindergarten kids on their jingle tambourines. I loved all the costumes and I think this year’s show was better than the last year. I had lots of fun. I hope that the next show will be better than best!

Lydia Dackerud 4-3

The Christmas Play was exciting and very surprising. I loved it dearly. I admired it! It was great! It was fantastic! I don’t know what more to say, it was just my best Christmas Play ever!  Thanks Mrs. Nimfa I’m grateful for you for being my Theater Arts teacher and for working real hard behind the scene.

I felt really good because the show was successful. I took part in the fabulous opening scene. The shinning stars, the fabrics with the colors of Christmas, and the ribbon dancers were fascinating. My favorite dance was everything that EDP Ballet did. The wonderful costumes amazed me. Thanks to Ms. Melinda and most especially to Mrs. Nimfa for teaching me how to dance.  I had a big cheer in my heart, because I’ve got the confident for the first time.

Kimmy 4-4

I got the potential to face the audience like a brave guy showing a kind of believable act. I knew I worked hard but not hard enough I guess. But my experiences in attending Theater Arts class made me believe that I’ve changed a lot in becoming a better student and a talented performer as well. I became very confident, responsible student, and do the work completely on time.  I’ve done many things successfully and I proud of that.

Niyant 5-1

I have been attending Theater Arts since I started studying in RIS. I’m in grade 5 now and believe me the learning experiences that I have had in this class gave me huge success in my life as a student. This subject teaches us how to be creative, how to work collaboratively with the group, how to solve problems, and how to communicate ideas and feelings through movements.  I’ve learned how to choreograph and put up a classroom show. I’ve learned how to create a character, made that character talk, and made costumes and props too.  Using our body, our imaginations, and our voice are the three important lessons I’ve learned that helped me became the student I am today. I’m proud to say that I am a confident performer, a responsible, and a hardworking leader.  Now I am also very proud that I am the JC president.  My confident was nurtured of the different Theater Arts activities I’ve actively engaged in.  At this point I would like to encourage everyone to join ES Theater Arts. It’s a lot of fun!

I can speak well now.  I got courage. I felt the world is mine! I wish to have more speaking parts.

All the unexplainable feelings I have had in taking part in our Christmas play is over. From feeling very nervous with goose bumps all over my body, to being exhausted and dizzy and almost out of breathed, all of these had turned out right and I completely understood after the show. I felt very happy.  Miss Heather was really proud of me. I’ve learned a lot and became very active. All these marvelous outcomes happened because of Mrs. Nimfa’s encouragement, positive approaches and hard work.

Natasha Jojo 5-5

The thing I really wanted to tell you is, that I am a new student and I am performing on stage the first time. I was really nervous at first but I managed to overcome it, because I think of the hard work we put on during rehearsals.  And I admit that I really enjoyed it very much!  I became so proud of myself!

 Vaishu 5-5

This year’s Christmas show was the best ever! I loved the creativity, the costumes, the props, and the special effects. The opening was just great when the lights were off and the stars shone. I loved my part the best because of the beautiful colors and costumes. The movements were wonderful. I felt a little nervous but at the same time I felt confident. I am very proud of myself afterward. I enjoyed singing Jingle Bells with the whole cast. When Mrs. Jeannie gave flowers to Mrs. Nimfa I couldn’t believe how can a person manages hundred of little kids doing their job well on stage, and how can she thinks of it year after year and making every year production a meaningful and entertaining one. I would like to thank her for that and for being my Theater Arts teacher.

Chiku 4-4

I liked Christmas Patchwork better than I Need a Little Christmas Vacation and Paint the Town December. I just love it especially my part, I thought it’s the best!  Everything was nice especially the dioramas in the opening. The special effects were great, thanks to Miss Dainty. I was really excited to do my part. When I came on stage I felt that my heart would burst out. The play was a great success. I hope I can always participate and be a part of our school plays.
