To succeed in this course, students must be prepared to experiment and develop their ideas in three-dimensional form addressing the issues of mass, volume, form, plane light and texture and explore a variety of materials clay, plaster, metal, wood, papier mache and found objects. Students are encouraged to keep a sketchbook.
