It is an honor and a privilege to be a member of the Middle School learning community.
I am also excited to be a part of an environment that is conducive to fostering creative, collaborative and critical thinking among students. We have outstanding professionalswho touch the lives of our children each day in meaningful ways. It is our collective goal to respond to the unique developmental needs of the adolescents who come to us.
The middle school years, encompassing the ages 10-14, are seen to be the most critical period in a student’s academic life. It is during this period that a child’s quest for life skills and abilities are honed and prepared for his/her future role as a leader. While challenging students to their full academic potential is at the core of our articulated curriculum we also strive to foster inner strength and confidence in each child. Our unique Values curriculum is specially designed to create empathy and human sensitivity. We are committed to providing contents-rich programmes taking into consideration a host of interests and talents in each individual child.
On a personal level I am devoted to the mission of RIS and I deeply care about the Social and Emotional intelligences of our children. We have several result-oriented improvement initiatives underway which we hope will help students develop positive attitudes towards life and zest for learning and growing.
