Peer Tutoring Program

Dear Parents:

RIS is once again offering individual peer tutoring for Grades 4-12 students who may need additional help outside of the classroom. Our Tutors will be students in grades 10 through 12 who have demonstrated academic success. We have found that students can often acquire better study skills and improved academic performance through studying one-on-one on a regular basis with a peer tutor. Peer tutoring will be held daily, Monday through Thursday, in the High School library from 2:45-3:45 pm. Parents need to arrange for their child’s transportation.

Our second semester tutoring will begin on MONDAY, January 25 and will continue on through THURSDAY, April 29. Please note: Tutoring will NOT be available the day before a holiday or on Teacher's Professional Development days (Feb 10, March 18, 24, and April 1).

In an attempt to meet a variety of student needs, we have designed four different tutoring plans.

Plan A : 4 days per week
Tutees will study from Monday - Thursday
The fees are 45 days x 250 bahts per session
The total fees for the semester are: 11,250 bahts

Plan B : 3 days per week
Tutees will study on Mon, Wed, & Thursday.
The fees are 32 days x 250 bahts per session
The total fees for the semester are: 8,000 bahts

Plan C : 2 days per week
Tutees will study on Monday & Wednesday
The fees are 22 days x 250 bahts per session
The total fees for the semester are: 5,500 bahts

Plan D : 2 days per week
Tutees will study on Tuesday & Thursday.
The fees are 23 days x 250 bahts per session
The total fees for the semester are: 5,750 bahts

If you wish to enroll your child, please complete the application form with payment and return it to the Finance Office. Payment should be made in full before the beginning of the tutorial sessions.
