This year at Ruamrudee we will endeavor to upgrade an already excellent academic program. Ultimately, we’d like all stakeholders to be passionate proponents of the learning experience at Ruamrudee. In order to achieve this, we will focus on what we do best: teaching and learning, improving on our strengths.
Thus, our overarching objective this year will be to achieve the highest standard teaching and learning possible, and to stand out as innovators in the field of international education. With the help of our Administrative Team, teachers will have considerable freedom to explore alternative methodologies, to collaborate, and to share their successes with colleagues and the outside community.
We will strive to develop innovative practices so that the benefits of our approach are perceptible to those who care most, our parents and students. (To this end, we’ve started the Ruamrudee Innovative Research Institute (RIRI), to my knowledge the first of its kind to be housed on an international school’s campus in Thailand. Two grants have been awarded to RIS educators for this school year for the purpose of researching innovative teaching approaches.)
My role is to organize, facilitate, guide and support. I will try my best to have an ongoing presence at all sections, spending extensive time visiting classrooms and encouraging our teachers and students to continually challenge themselves.
We are poised for greater success. We have a solid leadership team and exceptional teachers. We’ll work as a unified team to build cutting edge, innovative learning programs to help ensure a world-class, 21st Century educational experience for all our students.
