The elementary school experience offers many opportunities to grow mentally, emotionally, and socially. We encourage our students to become involved in, and prepare themselves to, take an active role in our school and in our society. We take pride in our students as they develop into successful young individuals. To foster this growth, we ask students to take advantage of the opportunities offered in their classroom and at the school. This year the students will be asked to integrate into their daily studies the guiding question: “How do I fit in this world?”
Through an inquiry-based approach to learning, students will find relevancy to their content areas. Students will continue to work on critical thinking, problem solving and background knowledge to create meaning.

We believe that, the more families are informed and involved in their child’s education, the richer the educational experience.
Communication is important and we encourage all of you to ask questions and set aside time at home to talk with your children about what they learned at school.
Our staff and I look forward to working together with you to realize our greatest hope: a community of learners where the wonderful in each student is known and nurtured, where learning is catalyzed by student inquiry and adventure, and where every student is prepared for middle school and being a productive citizen.
