Binita ShahPreK3, PreK4, Kindergarten, Grade 1WednesdayRoboTech KidzRoboTech Kidz is a program for children as young as 4 years old. This course introduces children to the world of technology and enhances their imagination and teaches them to build, program, and command their robots to be smarter, faster, and more fun than ever. Even if it seems like a child doesn’t have an obvious interest in coding, their curiosity will almost certainly be sparked once they get the chance to build a robot of their own. Children will quickly learn how coding skills are used in robotics and how to incorporate these skills in their own robots, machines, and designs. Our specially designed curriculum works in alignment with the concepts of STEM, meaning that children explore with inquiry-based and fun-based learning. This program is all about teaching kids how to build robots while they discover and solve problems in relation to real-life robotic challenges, develop math and scientific-inquiry skills, as well as experience physical science and technology first hand.We train children for ultimate participation in the World Robotics Olympiads. Encourage your little engineer with RoboTech robotics.

Photography is an artform that encourages and expresses creativity. When children are able to express themselves through photography, it gives them a chance to stimulate their creativity while challenging their capacity for observation and analysis. By teaching children the art of photography, it also fuels their naturally curious nature to explore and express themselves through the lens. When children start to see a perceptual point of view, their cognitive abilities start to develop. Not only does photography allow children to express their thoughts and feelings about their surroundings, but it also helps them to develop deeper connections with their environments. In this photography course designed by Beyond Books, children will be taken on a journey to find their voice and to channel that voice into photos that truly speak a thousand words. In each class, students will learn a short lesson on the fundamentals of photography and will have hands-on practice taking different styles of photos, individually and in groups.

Topics are:
– Introduction to photography
– The most important thing about taking pictures
– Architecture photography
– Photographing plants & nature
– Bug’s eye view- Portraits
– Colors in photography
– Food photography
– Photo-editing
– The art of selfies
– Exhibition prep & final thoughts
– Exhibition day

In the final class, students will host a gallery exhibition to exhibit their work from the course. All students will receive a progress report and a certificate of completion at the end of the course.
