Halloween Spooktacular
Halloween 2024 was an even bigger celebration than usual at RIS Ruamrudee International School! For the second year, the headline event was Halloween Spooktacular, a collaboration between the elementary school and the Parent Auxiliary!
Halloween Spooktacular is a community event and a spooky yet festive gathering for students, parents, and teachers. It was an excellent occasion for class parents to get to know each other. It featured games, activities, photo booths, and a haunted house for students to enhance their learning while having a jolly, spooky time!
This year’s Halloween Spooktacular kicked off with an extra special treat put together by RIS performing arts teacher Ms. Tania. Elementary school students delighted parents and teachers with a flashmob dance to Michael Jackson’s classic “Thriller.”
Afterward, Early Childhood students were treated to some trick-or-treating around the campus, stopping at each office to gather candy and show off their Halloween costumes to administrators, teachers, and staff.
Secondary school students and teachers also participated in the Halloween fun, dressing up to earn House Points or Grade Level Points. Middle and high school students laughed and took pictures at a Halloween photo backdrop while enjoying complimentary Boba tea and Krispy Creme donuts, sponsored by the Parent Auxiliary. Even RIS boarding students kept up the Halloween spirit with an after-school photo booth at Seelos Residence, inviting friends and teachers to join in on festive costumes, funny faces and poses, and creating new memories!
