The ’21–’22 school year begins August 16. Read an update from the Head of School here.
All the RIS kindergarten classes got together for a special assembly and Christmas-themed activities right before the first semester ended for the Christmas/New Year break! Gathered at the Peace Pole by the high school, the KG classes listened to an animated read aloud of the Gingerbread Man from their teachers. They then headed to the ES basketball court where they ran as fast as they could—like the gingerbread man—during a relay race. Afterwards, all the students hunted for materials to make their very own gingerbread boys and girls in class.
A fun-filled morning of laughter and cheers, the All KG Assembly was the perfect way for the kindergarteners to celebrate Christmas with their teachers and friends and close off the semester before the holidays!
