A Collaborative Evening Focused on Multilingual Learning
RIS Ruamrudee International School is proud to host the upcoming MLRC Meetup on October 27, 2025, from 5:00 to 6:30 PM. This free event will bring together educators and researchers for an evening of innovation and collaboration focused on teaching multilingual learners.
Refreshments will be served.
The keynote speaker will be Jon Nordmeyer, Founding Co-Director of the MLRC School Network. With over 30 years of experience in international education, Jon has taught in China, Ecuador, The Netherlands, Taiwan, Turkey, and Thailand, and previously served as the WIDA International Program Director. He has contributed to leading publications including The International Educator, International Schools Journal, Educational Leadership, and Global Education Review. Jon holds a BA in Classical Archaeology from Dartmouth College, an MA in TESOL from the School for International Training, and is currently a PhD candidate at the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
The Multilingual Learning Research Center (MLRC) School Network is a global research–practice partnership connecting educators and researchers to improve outcomes for multilingual learners. Member schools gain access to tools, resources, and collaborative opportunities to explore challenges and create solutions for inclusive and effective learning.
