Phoenix Robotics teams delivered another outstanding performance at the elite VEX tournament. Both teams showcased their talents by making it to the quarterfinals and excelling in the qualifications. Phoenix 2 secured an impressive 7th place out of 30 teams.
A memorable moment occurred when the RIS teams competed against each other, resulting in a thrilling 86-86 draw in a high-scoring game. What truly stood out, though, was the remarkable team spirit and cooperation displayed throughout the competition. The RIS teams are gearing up for the South East Asia finals in February.
In its ongoing expansion of the growing robotics community, RIS is encouraging students in Grades 10-12 to consider joining their VEX teams next year. They also plan to introduce VEX IQ teams for Grades 6-9 in the 2024–2025 academic year.
