November 1, 2021, marked the long-awaited reopening of schools in many cities. It has been over a year that children have been deprived of well-functioning education due to the COVID-19 outbreak and subsequent school closures. Schools reopening is both a relief and a concern in a time when effective education is much needed and so is the safety of children.
