“Integrating giftedness & twice-exceptionality in international schools.”
This workshop, led by Anita Churchville, focuses on innovative strategies to support high-ability and twice-exceptional learners in international schools. Drawing on her extensive experience coordinating high-ability programs and authoring influential publications, Anita will provide practical approaches to fostering inclusivity.
Participants will gain actionable insights into identifying and addressing the needs of gifted and twice-exceptional students, creating tailored strategies to enhance learning environments, and building collaborative relationships with parents and school communities.

Adaptive Schools Foundations Seminar
Dates: Sunday–Wednesday, April 6–9, 2025

Led by Dr. Ochan Kusuma Powell, this four-day seminar provides practical tools to enhance team effectiveness and cultivate a culture of continuous improvement. Designed for educators and school leaders, the Adaptive Schools Foundations Seminar equips participants with strategies to build high-functioning teams, facilitate meaningful dialogue, and manage conflict constructively.

Safer Schools, Safer Kids
Dates: Friday to Saturday, March 28–29, 2025

Cultivating cross-cultural approaches to safeguarding.
This workshop, presented in collaboration with The Global Safeguarding Collaborative (“the GSC”), emphasizes the crucial responsibility of safeguarding children in international school settings. The GSC, an educational 501(c)3 non-profit, is dedicated to ensuring all students globally are protected through effective safeguarding practices.
Speakers include Jonah Rosenfield, Founder and Executive Director of the GSC, and Priscilla Leighton, Director of Student Support and Designated Child Safeguarding Lead at RIS. They will share invaluable insights into safeguarding policies and best practices. Additionally, a diverse lineup of speakers will lead specialized workshops, offering opportunities for collaboration and the exchange of innovative strategies.
Participants will delve into topics such as training and professional development, identifying and addressing concerns, safeguarding vulnerable groups, leveraging technology in safeguarding, and leading effective safeguarding teams. This workshop equips educators with practical tools to create safer school environments and prioritize student well-being.
