Class of 1970 alumna Gloria Bryant Love and her family were struck by Hurricane Florence in North Carolina. Fellow alumna Marsha Westbrook has started a GoFundMe campaign to help Gloria and her family. “[Gloria] has health issues and is unable to walk,” says Marsha. “She and her husband had to be rescued after a tree fell on their house. The rain then flooded their town and washed out the roads. I am trying to raise money to at least get her to a more comfortable place. There is no word on when they can return to their home. It will probably be months. So perhaps [with GoFundMe], we can raise some money to help her get to a clean place to rest.”

NOTE: In its earliest days, the school’s name was stylized as Ruam Rudi School, hence it being often referred to as RRS by alumni from the ‘60s and early ‘70s. After being officially chartered by the Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the school was renamed Ruamrudee International School.
