Make a Wish Come True

For Children at Father Ray Foundation –

HS Activities Coordinator & Service Learning Coordinator Ms. Shirley Gamble will be coordinating a Christmas Wish List for 222 children at the Father Ray Foundation on behalf of the Redemptorist Fathers Foundation of Thailand. The list will have each child’s name, age, gender, and item that he or she would like.

RIS would like to encourage elementary and middle school students to sign up to buy a gift for a child. Ms. Shirley and student volunteers from the Father Ray Foundation Committee will be available at the following times and locations:

For HS students & faculty, please stop by at the Canteen Walkway during milk break, flex block, or lunch break.

For MS students & faculty, please stop by at the Canteen Walkway during lunch break.

For ES faculty, please stop by the ES Breezeway at lunch break (12:30 – 12:55 p.m.)

For ES or MS parents, Ms. Shirley & volunteer students from the Fr. Ray’s Committee will be available after school from 2:45 – 3:15 pm at Gate 8 on Nov 29 – Dec 1  and at Gate 5 on Dec 2-3. Please stop by at that time to select a child to buy for. (You may, of course, choose more than one!)

Starting on December 7, elementary and middle school students can drop off each gift-wrapped item in the ES Multipurpose Room and check off the Christmas Wish List next to the Christmas tree. The final drop-off day is Tuesday, December 14th

SHOPPING TIPS: As there are only two weekends to possibly go ‘shopping’ for gifts, Ms. Shirley recommends checking out Lazada for certain items as soon as possible. If you prefer to simply sponsor a gift, please email Ms. Shirley and she can help choose from the list on your behalf instead.

High school students will have a separate Christmas Wish List with items to be dropped off directly at Ms. Shirley’s office (H212).
